HOW i CAN HELP you

Have you ever wondered why you think and feel the way you do?

Do you ever stop to think why your life is not in the place you want it to be, or how you could make your life better?

Are you struggling with some unresolved issues or feel there’s something holding you back?

With Skype Psych online therapy sessions, I can help you grow, make positive changes to the way you feel, think and behave and move towards the life you want to lead.

As a Chartered Psychologist with specialist knowledge in neuropsychology, I can provide a deep understanding of why you feel and behave the way you do, what motivates you and what you need to achieve your goals in life.

This understanding provides a structure for making positive changes and gives you a deeper understanding of who you are; empowering you to take charge of your life and build a better relationship with yourself and those around you.

I can help you deal with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, anger problems and difficulties stemming from childhood.

I understand that speaking to a therapist for the first time can be daunting, and we'll work through this together. Instead of being judged, you’ll be understood. You will be treated as an individual; we'll talk about your needs and goals during your first session, and we'll continue to talk about them as you progress through your journey.

I had so much anger before I started having therapy - I’d get angry over the smallest thing. It was affecting every part of my life and ruining my relationships. Now I understand why I feel like that, and I’m working on it. I’ve also learned loads of other things about myself that have helped me change some things I wasn’t happy with. Having therapy has improved my family life, my friendships and my work life.

I have suffered from obsessive thoughts about germs and cleanliness since I was a teenager. I would feel the need to wash my hands many times during the day and felt I couldn’t touch items with my bare hands that I knew other people had touched, without washing my hands afterwards. This pattern of thinking and behaving was taking over my life and affecting my choices. I knew it wasn’t right, but felt I couldn’t help it. I was worried about getting help in case the person thought I was mad or thought I was a lost cause. I found Ailis online and she immediately put my mind at ease. She helped me see where my beliefs about germs stem from. We are working on my behaviour patterns and I’m beginning to see small shifts in how I think. I’ve got a long way to go, but I feel confident that I can get better.
