Hi, I'm Ailis,

online therapist.

I’m an experienced Chartered Psychologist and psychotherapist who has been working in private practice for 20 years, helping people from all walks of life who want to make their lives work better for them or be more comfortable in themselves.

Alongside this, I also work as a forensic psychologist, providing assessments and psychological knowledge to help the courts make decisions in criminal and family cases.

I am director of North West Psychology and former Clinical Director at the Liverpool Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My qualifications and memberships at-a-glance:

  • Chartered Psychologist and Psychotherapist

  • Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society

  • Member of the Association for Psychological Sciences

  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council

  • Doctorate in Psychology

  • MSc in Forensic Psychology

  • BA(Hons) in Psychology

  • The British Psychological Society’s applied practitioner Diploma in Forensic Psychology

I’ll use my knowledge and experience to provide insight into what you feel, why you feel that way and how you behave.  Between us, we can formulate a path through the maze to making a more positive and healthy way of being.

Ailis at Skype Psych is amazing. She’s so easy to talk to and get on with. She really cares and knows her stuff. I was quite nervous about having therapy but thanks to Ailis’ way of doing things it’s normal to me now; it’s an essential part of my week.

Ailis is so easy to talk to. She’s friendly, professional and knowledgable. I was nervous about talking to someone about my depression but she put me at ease right away.
